Judge’s notes:  “The Bug Boys presents with a cute, colorful cover art design that immediately intrigues me and (for whatever reason) brings a smile to my face. After reading this story, I had many such smiles on my face. What a great little story! Just really smart writing here. Fun plot, fantastic characters, and a solid entry from cover to cover. Alex and Ian cracked me up and they will keep any reader (of any age) turning the pages and giggling all the way. I was very impressed with their personalities and how they leapt off the page. I really feel like they could literally be the kids down the street (well, sort of). So, great characterization. The plot is super clever and just really strong writing here. The author’s writing style and voice is perfect for the genre. Nice pacing—no major slow downs. Nice mix of narrative and dialogue. Realistic dialogue for the genre and the age group. The over-all production quality is top notch. No major editing issues. I was very impressed and will definitely look for more from this author in the near future. Thank you for sharing this adventure with us.” – Judge, 4th Annual Self-Published e-Book Awards.

Review Notes: “Overall The Bug Boys is an entertaining read that will appeal to young readers, especially boys looking for something fun and a bit on the gross side. It is an easy read and not too long so it will hold their interest. I felt that the book left open the possibility of more novels to come, and I look forward to it.
